My Skincare Routine
Skincare is extremely important to me. I've always been pretty good about taking care of my skin but now that I'm 30, I feel like its a whole different ball game. Especially since I work out, bacteria and impurities can get into my skin from the gym. This means I have to be cautious of not letting my pores clog and having breakouts.
One of the things that I have changed once I hit 30 was washing my face once a day. I used to do it twice but it was drying my skin a lot which leads to wrinkles.....no bueno. I typically wash my face in the morning after my gym session. Then at night, I use some Micellar water to clean my skin and refresh it. Moisturize with some serum and use the jade roller so that it penetrates even more into the skin. I also use the Charlotte Tilbury eye cream and once a week I'll use Tata Harper eye mask.
I had never heard of FRÉ until a couple months ago, and boy was I glad I did. There skincare line is organic and they even help out the environment. Every set that is sold, they plant an Argan tree in Morocco. They contacted me to do a product review since their skincare line is formulated for women who workout. I tried it out and was very surprised at how much I liked it. It keeps my face moisturized for the entire day but not in an oily way. I feel like they know exactly what my skin needs in order to not break out from my sweat session.
Just recently, they debuted their DETOX ME mask and I am obsessed. You can use it every day after your workout session and that is exactly what I do. I leave the mask on for 1-2 minutes , as I'm getting my shower ready, and then take it off inside the shower. I then proceed to cleanse my face with the cleanser. When I get out of the shower, I moisturize with the cream and serum.
The team at FRé was nice enough to give my readers a discount on their starter kit which is a great way to try out this amazing brand which I am sure you will love. You can get it here and use my code " MP" for the discount.
If you try it out please let me know in the comments below what you think.
